je suis parti à New york à la mi-juin pour y passer 10jours de vacances, et j'ai vraiment aimé la grosse pomme ! Je ne vous raconterai pas ici mes vacances, mais la bas, j'en ai vraiment profité !
Sur le plan de la course à pied, j'ai fait 3 sorties en 10 jours, en courant dans le campus de l'université ou j'étais logé, l'université de fordham, dans le bronx.
Pourquoi seulement 3 sorties ? Car il faisait plus de 35° en moyenne ! Et a chaque sortie j'entendais des "you're crazy dude !"
Sinon j'en ai profité pour acheter des ASICS DS TRAINER sur la 5ème avenue (100dollar soit 77€ !) Je n'ai malheuresement pas pu courir à central park, qui était à 1h de métro du Bronx !
De retour des USA, j'ai décidé de m'inscrire sur une course de 14km, qui se déroulait à Laleu et La palice. Pour ceux qui ne conaissent pas il s'agit d'un quartier portuaire, qui contient par exemple la base militaire qui a servi de décor au film "das boot". C'est un quartier qui donne l'impression de voyager dans le temps, tant les commerces,bars,hotels,installations portuaires, donnent l'impression de ne pas avoir bougé depuis les années 1950.
Cette course s'est plutot bien passée pour moi, j'ai achevé les 14km en 1h01minutes, malgré les 60km de vélo effectués la veille (pas très sérieux, je sais !)
j'ai décide de me fixer un objectif suite à cette course : Me faire un 15km en passant sous l'heure !
